    i posted a question in the wrong forum,as it was to the editors rather than the membership. i broke a venturi in half with equal parts in the upper and lower zenith 2 carb. i wanted tp know if anyone hag a way to remove same.i found a tool handmade that was a length of pipe with a threaded rod...

    broken venturi

    i have a zenith 2 carb. the venturi has broken off cleanly and left the upper and lower carb pieces with half of the venturi in each part. is there any easy way to remove both pieces without damaging the carb ? would heat from a torch loosen the venturi, which i think is made from a zinc casting...
