Thank you all very much! Sometimes I'm as dumb as a "bag of hammers". I simply had put them on incorrectly. I merely rotated the bottom edge back into the fender and retightened them. They now fit perfectly. They are Drake's aprons and I am well pleased with them. Farmers with machinery, go...

Just hung new splash aprons on my '40 Commercial for a test fit. Are they the correct ones? Have I installed them wrong? They extend down below the fender and it looks terrible. Really detracts from the fender profile.

Thanks fourtydlx, I finally found the braces in the shop. I was looking for a brace similar to the rear fender brace, going by the remnant I had. It finally dawned on me that the piece I was looking for was that large rectangular brace. I do have the left and right. Dennis/Arkansas
