Hi Guys, I'am restoring my 1939 sedan that I've owned since 1962. My question is, what is the correct color for the inside of the bucket, gray, silver??? Can't tell from the old black and white photos. If anyone knows I would sure appreciate a shout back. Thanks Richard

Try cleaning or turning the armature, installing new brushes and springs. Also make sure the starter has a good clean ground against the pan "no paint". With a good battery, and connections your hot start problem should go away.

I had the same thing happen when I installed a new gas tank in my 41 pickup. Ran good for twenty or so miles, before the power loss occurred. Tried a new fuel pump, problem persisted. Sometimes the old adage "who's new in the neighborhood" comes into play. Pulled the fuel line off at the tank...
