    Fender welting

Is there fender welting between the running board apron and the front fender on a 30 coupe? The running boards are original (one piece apron/running boards). I don't remember seeing anything about this in the judging standards.

Sport Coupe Resurrection - Debris in Bores

I think the real question is where did the debris come from? You are cleaning up an old engine that my have not run for a long time. I think I would pull the head. Save yourself time and trouble down the road. You cannot replace a valve without removing the head. Good like, Bill

Will not start after engine rebuild

I did the same thing with a rebuilt engine. I had the cam set 180 out (backwards). Even set that way the engine would pop and backfire. I checked and checked. I stopped working on it. Two weeks later I thought about the cam, and decided to try changing it - started right-up. Good luck with...

Seal Drip Rail Gutters on 30 Coupe

The pictures are of the drip rails on my 30 coupe. They are welded on and I am not going to remove them. I can straighten the gutter and push it back but there will still be a gap. What should I use to seal the gaps between the roof and the gutters (shown In the pictures)?

    Gas Gauge Inner Nut

Thanks for the information on inner nut removal, but I am more interested in the inner nut than how to remove it. The inner nut is a six point not and eight point nut. The standard tools (as you can see in some of the pictures) remove an eight point nut. The lens in the middle is smaller and...

    Gas Gauge Inner Nut

The picture is of the gas gauge from my early 30 coupe. Notice the inner nut. The standard tools I have do not fit. They fit a 5/8 opening. Mine has a 21/32 opening for the tool. The lens in the middle is smaller and does not appear to have a face plate behind it. I looked in the judging...
