Sounds like most have had issues with leaks. I have worked on my 30' many times. I found a cure that works for me. I rev the motor up a little before turning the ignition off - no leaks. Not a real fix but works for me. Just tired of taking that carb apart and buying needles & seats. Steve

I was driving down the highway when I noticed that my gear shift lever was not staying in near the third gear. In fact, it moves all over the place but the trany stays in third gear. I stopped and was able to move it enough to get first gear, reverse, and third but not second. I got home...

My '30 coupe has a good radiator and pump but every time I drive the car for thirty minutes or so, the radiator water drops about a half a gallon. What's happening? The overflow pipe is just below the cap where it should be. Could this be a matter of a leaking head gasket? How about re-torquing...

I hand to insulate the bulb sockets with liquid tape due to the bulb receptacle contacts shorting on the inside of the socket. I read that some guys use a Drumel tool to grind off a little of the sides of the contacts to avoid shorts. (I use a 7amp fuse on each headlight lead - so far so...
