    hershey

A good year for Model T and A fans. A lot of $1, $5 and$10 tarp sales. AACA consolidated some fields to fill in the main fields, still some spaces though. Behind the arena 2 rows of stalls and one poor stall out in the middle of God's country. Deals were scattered throughout the fields. There...

Off Topic, Car hits tire, all hell breaks loose

Been there done that - wrote the car off - never caught the transport driver who lost the tire. Nobody killed - police not interested in finding the bugger. Nice argument with the insurance company. Better half pissed. Upside still alive.

Dealing with tarred sheet metal '39 cpe

Try Diesel fuel - spray it on and let it soak - scrap it off - worked on a 57 ford undercoating - it helped that it was on a rotisserie.

    Torque tube lengths

Another question for you. If the 4 cylinder is longer and the torque tube is shorter and the transmissions are all the same size? is the location or mounting of the 4 cyl transmission different than the V8?

    Torque tube lengths

Thank you I thought that's the way it was there must be an abundance of 4 cylinder ones around because I have checked a few and they were the shorter lengths.

    Torque tube lengths

1934 Ford radiator - mea culpa

In the last 6 months I have purchased two 1934 Ford oem original radiators. One in Canada and one at Hershey 2016 both had the same back history - you know the one - was taken off a running car blah blah blah both fellows appeared trustworthy. You live an learn the one from Canada was a...

    Need Hershey swap space

The biggest stumbling block is applying for the Pennsylvania Tax permit - you sell they take - they wanted a permit for a car club information stand. This may have changed I inquired about a spot a few years ago.

    Boxing 1934 Ford Frame

My welder and I went over the frame and it is in pretty good shape, am going to hold off on boxing the frame until I can mock up the body and figure out which suspension/steering I am going to use. I am going to use a flathead V8 so that is another reason not to box it.

    Boxing 1934 Ford Frame

I would mock up the whole body including running boards and fenders and find all the original holes that I would need if I had all the parts but this is/was a basketcase. A rusty body and a bare frame and a few parts picked up thru Ford Barn ads. I will be running a 50's Mercury flathead but if...

    Boxing 1934 Ford Frame

I know this is a touchy subject but I am going to box my 34 frame. I have used Wescott's frame diagram for the locating the weld nuts for the body on the top rails and for the gas tank. But it is unclear for the running board bracket mounts and the front fender braces and inner brackets and...

    American Picker at Hershey?

I thought I saw a very scruffy Robby Wolfe from American Pickers at Hershey 2015 on Tuesday in the orange and green field area, I hoped he paid retail on that porcelain sign. We'll probably see it as a find on the show.

    Hershey Show

I was informed that riding your bicycle was no longer allowed on Tuesdays - I think because the vendors were too busy racing to their spots to care about people on bicycles yet adult trikes were okay. So I am putting a training wheel on my bike making it a three wheeler. :{)
