we placed the full float a motor kit on our tudor and couldn't be more happy. took out a lot of the vibrations we had and for us stiffened in areas we thought were lacking. have had any issues with it so far. but to each their own I suppose. from out opinion they've been working great on out 29'

I have the info from the auto restoration kit T5 conversion...Im not sure if this will help you out or not.

also with this problem the front brakes are dragging a lot ! you can take the wedge out all the way and they still drag. however when you hit the bolt/nut on the bottom center of the backing plate they free up and spin until you press the brakes again.

james, have you had anyone that you know of install the fly/clut. with the s10 ****** ? thats the big thing.. i may have to go with what denis has said just keep the originals and have them balanced or shaved etc.

i just purchased the 5 sp ****** (s10) from AutoRestoration. the kit comes with a clutch but i wanted to go with the V8 clutch and lightened flywheel. does anyone know if this is possible ? a friend told us that after doing the fly&clutch from the v8 we would have idling problems ? is this true...
