Has anyone managed to fit a modern hi-capacity small 6v battery into the Script battery original case and using the original top covering the conversion so everything looks original. I have heard rumours that it is possible but nothing specific.

I have just seen a Model B carb that has been balanced for using an air cleaner, the difference with this one is all the modifications were internal and could not been seen. Unfortunately I never had time to get all the details of how it is done. Does anybody out there know how to do this...

I believe there is a modification to drill holes in the gear to reduce noise. Can any body help me with the details on what to do. I was told the article was in a Secrets of Speed magazine.
