    from what I have gleaned so far, only the crossmembers are supposed to be a heavier gauge steel. As far as that cross bracing only for convertibles, what is it, an angle, a channel? Where is it welded, even with the top flange of the side rail, the bottom or on the web in between the flanges...

    Does anyone have anything that SHOWS the differences between a 1937 convertible frame and closed car frames?? I have descriptions, but I can't see any differences when I look at frames?? Thanx PG
