    32 cowl vent fit issue

    I want to thank you all for your posts. Very helpful. My car turns out to have early hinge & late cowl lid . Purchasing correct hinge & all should be well. Frustrating but car people usually have an answer to a problem, we didn't have to reinvent the wheel to fix the problem. Thanks again...

In the 50s when repairing a '50 Ford our body man found a 3/4 full whiskey bottle in the left rear quarter panel under the driver's rear window that must have been stuck in there at assembly so the assembler wouldn't get caught drinking on the job...
