Such a rare system and people looking for the same stuff tells me you'll need to hone your engineering and fabrication skills if you want it to work. I found very little info searching. There is limited number of ad images but nothing technical.

I thought I covered that "Go with a big name like Reliable or Passport."

Jay does not have a Model A in his collection. That is the snooty cocktail party "Audrain" price. https://www.audrainconcours.com/

I'd go with this kit. https://modelastore.com/products/a-6508-b-modern-valve-kit-with-big-intake-valves?pr_prod_strat=similar&pr_rec_id=5b93852dc&pr_rec_pid=9496023531752&pr_ref_pid=9496023498984&pr_seq=uniform I'm doing a B now with these. I'm not going the hard seat route as they aren't needed...

More fiction - 1930 so it's an A engine the 31 got the B engine. Black Model T were ordered because they were cheaper......... BTW: Where are those buyers of $40,000 Model A Roadsters??????

The kits were probably model specific. There are "looking for" ads on HCCA, Model T and FakeBook sites for the same parts.

When I volunteered shortly after I joined MAFCA - 3-4 years ago (and a couple times since) I was told it was being done and would be finished shortly. When they changed Web Masters the ability to download a PDF was shut off. I got a real sense of "not invented here so we're not interested"...

Sounds like a win-win. That guy has loved the car for many years and is facing the fact he needs to move it on. The Tudor I posted for the top picture was similar. The car was undriven for about 10 years - covered up in the garage, The owner had neuropathy in his legs so had trouble with...

Lots of horror stories. Bite the bullet and DO NOT shop price. Go with a big name like Reliable or Passport. Read this Jalopy Journal post - https://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=66133 Common Auto Transport Nightmares Freight Fraud and Car Hijacking: Scammers pose as legitimate transport...

StaBil has a formula for ethanol laced fuels. A non ethanol fill up is no possible in many parts of the country.

Congrats to all. Now a request to the new Board. Get the memory stick of the Restorer issues updated. Memory sticks are cheap rewrite and relabel the ones you have or just toss them in the trash. They are missing OVER 15 years of the latest information. Make it so the Restorer electronic issue...

OH NO - there will be panic in the streets. People will have to diagnose their own problems and break out the Red Book on how to repair something...... Thanks Ryan. Not being very techish I've enjoyed the simplicity of the site. Or maybe it was because it was the standard software for so many...

AI Overview Marvel Mystery Oil (MMO) acts as a lubricant and upper-cylinder cleaner, but it is not a true chemical fuel stabilizer designed to stop gasoline from degrading during long-term storage. Why It Is Not a Dedicated Stabilizer No Chemical Oxidation Resistance: Modern gasoline...

A little heat from a hair dryer may help.

Great stuff when you are not on a budget......

Who else won? The OP is click bait without all the results........

Must be nice - 4,800 mile round trip from here. Shipping or driving takes about the same time to get the parts.

Speedster is the way to go. I've seen some that use a 40s hood for the rear deck. Some early cars used fabric for bodies like early aircraft. You'll enjoy driving a Model A speedster. Taking a lot of weight off really wakes them up.

This top is probably 30 years old - inside storage.
