My car is now a member of this group. Have over 10k miles on the B engine in my 31 Slant-windshield model in the past 6 yrs. Just finished a brake job last wk. Now to do some motoring.

Have to say the Slant Window models are my favorite, can not afford the Vicky so go with late 31 Slant. Got mine from our cousin after 26 yrs. Really enjoy touring with this model. Thanks

Oh, it is fun to take the "A" out for a spin anytime, but just back from the Sweet Home Ala. Tour - 400 miles. Lost the clutch, late the last day; have fixed that and back on the road. So far this yr have put 1600+ miles on her. That is about normal for me. Too many toys - 22K on the motorcycle.

We are going to Barnesville Buggy Days where there are a slew of Model A's, in the display before they parade and then just hang around all afternoon. We have driven up from Columbus several years now. Good Fun

My S/W had short rails welded behind the current rails, it sure helped with the leg room, now have as much room as the 2 dr sedan has. whew!! Can drive all day relaxed. Bob

Have a 160B Slant in the Murray style restored in Ind. back in 84.

This should be a good learning experience, have had a B engine in this Model A for 12 yrs. Good touring engine. Have a question - need to replace the clutch/throwout bearing. Have not found any info on whether there is a difference between the A&B? Thanks - Bob

Maybe there will be a pic for you all to see. This 1931 4 dr had been in our family for over 25 yrs when I was able to buy it and bring it to Ga. I had a rare 31 Dlx 2 dr sedan myself for over 27 yrs when I decided to get the Slant Window model here, both have been great tourers.
