I an needing to replace the starter on my 36 pickup. I would like to get some advice or opinions on what type to replace it with. Would you recommend staying with the old style bendix or going with the new slim style. The old style looks like it is going away.

Kube, I think you are right I have a tendency to over think things. :) I suppose you could go either way with Skip or someone else like Joe's old cars and everything would be fine.
