    Is MAC's still in business?

I ordered 11 different parts from them and got the answer that all of them, except one were B.O. Since I live on the other side of the Atlantic it is difficult to understand what is happening in the US? Is there anyone who knows whats going on in MAC's?

    Phaeton 1935 - Steering Wheel?

Hi Ford friends! Thanks for your replies. I know that De Luxe models got Steel Spoke Steering Wheels in May 1936. But could it be that the wheel was as option for all Model 48 during the latter part of 1935?

    Phaeton 1935 - Steering Wheel?

I've seen pictures of Phaeton 1935 Model 48-750 with Steel Spoke Steering Wheels and also those with The Standard Steering Wheels. Was "Banjo steering wheel" standard in De Luxe or an option, or is it something that the car owner has supplemented later?

Do you have a Ford Flathead V8 H-block?

Hi Walt! I don´t know what the rear hole in the block was used for. I guessed that it was for a distributor. But it can also be for a governor. The distributor that I found in the box beside the engine was of the model “eggshell/driver helmet”. So I believe you are right! Regards Carl

Do you have a Ford Flathead V8 H-block?

I have a 239 CID German made truck engine. Under the intake manifold the block is mark S99T and four digits blocked with stars. As it usually is on this type of Ford engine. But, someone has grinded out the old engine number and put on a new. So the S99T is false! I believe that the engine...
