i found similar posts on here about it being normal. I have built plenty of wont say no brands engines I have never seen a crank do this. Everything is right on been plastigaged and all. Everything is in spec. The puzzle is why can you turn it by hand wants you get it to spin

I have a set of standard cam bearings from speedway installed in an 8 BA. I went to install the stock cam back in it and it will not go in at all, so i miked the journals and they are in spec.1.797. I checked the bearings and they are showing 1.790. Is there a chance that these bearings are...

Well guys I found out my cam bearing problem. Some blocks Ford over did it on the boring of the cam bearing bores which resulted in an over O.D. bearing. .080" I think it was. Which are 95.00 a set, more than the standards. Thanks for all the info

yeah I wouldn't be worried about them but the guy I got it from had it rebuilt then he decided that he wanted to do a cam swap and he wasn't so gentle and chewed them up forcing the cam in

Melling dura bond F-1. Interchanges with shs21s. These bearings look to be the size in the block, but there is something between the block and the bearing
