Looks like a solid start. It has a '41 front end (which I prefer). Are you sure that it's a '40 ? It also appears that it has a spare mount on both sides of the bed.

I am wrapping up a new wiring harness on my '41 Truck - with the only remaining task is plugging in the dimmer switch. Sometime in the truck's history the wiring harness was replaced with wires of the same color - so I don't have the old harness to use as a reference. My specific question is...

I need to replace my original harness due to age and a lot of add-ons that were tapped in over the years. I have been looking around for an original - spec harness but so far no luck. I spoke the the tech support at Rhode Island wiring and they do not have the specifications to make a 41...
