Didn’t have any issues with the alignment. The kit was complete they supplied everything.

Update: HD gave me a lead to Restoration Specialties & Supply, Inc. in PA where they had the clips (2563 Garnish Clip) so I bought all new ones.

Looking for (3) garnish mldg clips (Part# 358571-S8 or 358591-S) for 1954 Crestline Victoria. If someone has a parts car that may have some of these clips and would be willing to part with at least (3) clips it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I bought the kit off eBay (ezsteer) the coupler that came with was one with flex joint however it was to long so I had to replace it with a solid straight coupler then cut the steering shaft length to fit. The pump mounting bracket didn’t fit as well as I liked so I cut one of the mounting ears...

I’m not really sure, I just liked the two tone steering wheel and was told it was a Crestline wheel. It took over a year and half to get all the components sorted out before he cast the wheel, but glad I was patient. Rope

It was a kit however, I would never do it again! The steering gear was bad in the kit, the wrong steering shaft connector in the kit was wrong and the pump bracket had to be modified to fit correctly. I would look into an electric assist steering system if something is available or leave it the...
