Thanks all for your comments. I have updated my location (thanks for the push). I’m in Mandeville, Louisiana. Glad I didn’t have the axle snap off while driving! Will need to dig deep into part suppliers and steps to fix.

Does anyone know of a good technique to get the gasket into the clam shells with goal to wrap around the torque tube but through a tight area? I can only get one in at a time and then I have zero room to press in the gasket. Does the neoprene solve this?

19Fordy, it looks like you have a floor pan that extends back, while mine does not go back much at all so have little room to move the transmission back. Rear wheels removed. I hope the photos I post show the issue a little better.
