"4 plugs on a V6, how does that work? It's ionizing the water" "I said V8 not V6"

Weird how 'mericans need super heavy trucks to tow a car. We get by with a tandem (or single axle, but i don't like them as much) trailer and a little old hilux. A decent odyssey should tow one.

Chipped gear tooth?

Love the way it looks. Doesn't sound like a flathead. But i really love the cab.

Bonded is normally bad, although i had bonded stuff that was like cardboard. It had heaps of grip & made for amazing brakes. Last 10 months and it was worn out. I then went to the truck shop & asked for woven lining. TL:DR Truck shop woven lining comes at a price but is.. worth it?

I noticed you appear to be posting the same video link over and over. It's a video of a truck driving on a country road. If you're wondering why it doesn't display in fordbarn as a little video window, i don't think fordbarn allows that for some reason.

If you cannot get good replacements any time soon. see if you can get replacement seals. And if the bleed was not quite at the top, would it be possible to fill the offending air gap with epoxy?

Perfection. It's a very precise machine, but not required to be as precise in most circumstance. Taught myself to drive one of those when i was 12. Didn't have access to the car. Just a book describing it. 2 things i didn't get 100% perfect when i did access the car was pushing the clutch...

Member the tell of capt'n walker. Right now we has the pictures & the video to member of all we'd lost. The pocky lips took it all away.

As for stripped plugs, should the housing be stripped, dip the plugs in wax, and re-install them in a slightly cleaned housing with an epoxy akin to 'jb weld'. Refill shocks as necessary. I have never re-built one, so cannot offer much advice on that task.

I hate chrome, there's no buttons unless you download so many mods for it, seems to think it needs to send permission to google to view things. I think i know what they're really doing with that data... Firefox seems ok most of the time, then there's the dozens or web browsers people made from...

All ignition coils spike up to near 80+ volts on the primary side so it's likely they would work fine.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqugoT3luJQ Found this while driving, became weak & misfired a few times. Thought i'd stop & check it out.

Yuck, use no corrosives or you might as well have used a line you found in a wreck in a forest. I use linseed oil, leave item in the sun, or bake lightly after applying. You're not trying to cook it. Just dry it. I left a set of new keys dipped in linseed oil on top of the toaster for a few...

That's why i wanted to put the sub' in a truck box. Room in it for a couple of 12 volt batteries that can be charged at home. You seem like you'd want the sub inside the car, if you have a trunk, maybe it could become battery storage?

Or not even the model B distributor with my latest gadget. I'll get it presentable & show ya'll.

They just don't look the same..... That's the thing, The time for the coil to build up enough juice to jump the gap is measurable. I've never measured it myself, but when i was making electronic ignition, if the gap was too wide i needed 12ms of coil activation time versus 2ms for normal...

I don't have a photo of it, or even know where it is at the moment. But i had a pre-war ratchet that was made in china. Wasn't even a ratchet as such, more like, a heavy steel scroll that bound up when you turned it in one direction. Wasn't amazing, but showed, that once, a long time ago, they...

I can tell you what modernization's to avoid. Don't do 'modern' points plates. Don't do modern seals on the rear main bearing. Everyone i know that tried them, has regretted doing those. If the generator cut-out is malfunctioning, you can rebuild them. Or keep it for later and install a...
