Just looked up a .060 drill bit. Thats tiny! I can definitely see how it will affect the oil pressure.

That probably explains my oil pressure drop when the engine gets warmed up! Thanks guys. Not sure my best method to make/obtain one. The solder technique sounds pretty interesting, need to fine a .060 drill bit.

Just to chime in here, why do you need the restrictor fitting? I ended up putting an oil filter back on the '46 after it had been missing from the prior owner. Fabricated brake line with no problems, but I definitely don't have a restrictor fitting on it? What does it do specifically?

Do some research, but I have been told that the crab type distributor cap can replace the two piece "bunny ears" style. I was told this after I went through tremendous pain in the rear of running the spark plug wires through the top piece of my bunny ear style one.

Did you use one of the generator to alternator mounting brackets like they sell through Mac's? Any problems finding a belt to line it up? I assume you also switched out the starter solenoid to 12v and coil as well?
