    Swap 1940 Chevy C10 truck

I have a very nice 1940 C10 Chevy truck I would like to swap for a Model T roadster. The truck is solid with very little rust. I'm told the engine is not a 1940 but rather a early 1950's engine. I'm not a Chevy guy so I don't know the difference. I got it about 5 years ago in a swap. Its geared...

    Balance

Is there a way to balance the model t wheel/ tire? I get up to around 38 or so and the tires start to shake. It would be great if there was some kind of adapter a person could use to spin balance them.

    Loose threads

Has anyone ever used aluminum foil around the 1/2in sparkplug to tighten loose threads in an aluminum head. I think one of the plug hole threads in my aluminum high comp head are getting worn. I don't like the way it feels when I tighten the plug.

    Stewart vacuum fuel pump question

I'm helping a friend with his Stewart vacuum fuel pump. I cant find the right size fitting for the fuel inlet. Anything I try is either to big or to small. All the other holes are 1/8 and 3/8. But the fuel port is an odd size. Anyone know what size it is and where I can find it? Thank you.

That moment that makes everything you did worthwhile,

As I mentioned, I got the Model A running great. This was only the 2nd Model A I ever worked on. Monday the car went home to NC. I think I mentioned the owner is suffering from Alzheimer's disease and its taking it terrible toll. It was mentioned once that someone said they saw where this was...

Cancelling a vintage plate reg. in NY

When I lived in Ny I had vintage tags to match the years of my cars. When time came to take them off the road I simply went to the DMV and told them I wanted to keep my 1919 and 1923 tags and they just cancelled registration and let me keep the tags

    Locked up engine project

Good morning Mike, First I had soaked all the cylinders in Kroll oil for about two weeks. Once a day I would hit each piston with a 2 x4 and a hammer. The owner was getting in a hurry so I went to the jack process. I applied the jack VERY slowly. Only moving each cylinder about an 1/8 inch each...
