    Steering column question

    I hope we're talking about the same bolt. This is the one used to clamp the unit to the steering column itself. I don't see anything behind the dash. The unit is secured to underside lip of the dash by two nuts and bolts which are easy to get at.

    I need to remove the bolt that clamps the steering column on my 1940 PU. It's the one that secures the column hanger/ ignition switch/ steering shaft lock. I've read where an easy out was used. suggestions please. Thanks
