Modified A will not run at higher RPM

Re: Modified A will not Calihute I don't see any reference to the coil that you're using with that FSI distributor. As suggested in post #12, when you talk with Shawn confirm the coil that he recommends for the distributor.

    Modern Distributors

I use my timing light. I set to about 8 advanced. In order to make that work you need the Nurex timing dial installed (or some equivalent to it), and you need to mark TDC on your crank pulley.

    Element Fire Extinguisher

I have Element extinguishers everywhere. All the cars, my workshop, garage and the kitchen. My daughter actually had to use one in her 56 Chevy. ****** fluid soaked the wrap on her header and caught fire. Worked great for her --- saved the car.

Cylinder head has stripped stud. Need advice.

Did you install new studs along with the new head? If the stud is just stripped and not broken, you should be able to try vice grips or something like them to get that single stud out. Have you tried that yet?

Weber carburetor & fuel pressure question.

My weber runs fine at 3.0 PSI. I use an Edelbrock pump. I would think that 1.5 to 4.0 would be fine. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? If not, you might want to install one.

    engine compression levels.

Stock compression ratio was 4.2:1. So --- 90 some years later, not accounting for any rebuilds, you look about right. What's particularly good is that all cylinders are the same. That's rare and that's great. I'll say you have nothing to worry about. By the way, 4.2 at sea level would be around...

Next step - brake lines...30 Tudor - Guidance?

I think Snyder's has a pre bent kit for the Model A. Don't hold me to that but I would go to them first.

    Misfire mystery

Mine sounds exactly the same. Worried about it for a bit and, like you, couldn't find anything. Finally ran across and article that said it's "the nature of the beast". Stopped worrying and moved on.
