Same source for Bob Drake and Vintique?

The best process, in my opinion, is to buy from BD, DC, or Mac's. I have learned that they do, apparently, 'share' manufacturing needs'. For example, I ordered a '40 Deluxe steering wheel from Drake. When received, it had the Vintique name on the back. I will ad that it was a beautiful and...

    1940 Ford Interior color

I have a '40 tudor. It has been restored with Mac's Cartouche in gray. The gentleman, 86 year old in Florida, who had it restored told me it came with gray interior. That was a surprised to me. But, hey, what do I know? So, I have a black car with gray interior. It looks good............

    Bob drake again

Per Kube above: As a side note of sorts: I think it funny that those of us that expect honesty are labeled "whiners", etc. Since when did telling the truth become whining? No one has said, suggested nor implied that expecting honesty and telling the truth would label someone a...

    Remove running board rubber

Please do yourself a big favor and buy a new set of complete running boards from Bob Drake. They are excellent and worth the price. On occasion, he does have a sale; it is worth it, trust me. https://www.bobdrake.com/Categories3.aspx?Id=3536runningboards

Banjo Wheel Restoration Who Does It

I used JB Weld. I felt the 'runny' part was a plus; it enables the epoxy to seep deeper into the cracks. I also feel JB is easier to work with. I than used a 'fine' file to shape it before sanding and priming. The wheel looks AWESOME!

    reproduction ford battery dead

I have always maintained (ablest the last few years) that when ever what appears to be a battery issue, REPLACE IT! From there, at least you know, it is not the battery. A new battery is a 'cheap fix'. I recommend you replace the battery and 'go from there'. Have a great day............ Daryl
