For a fuse block, I made a small bracket that mounts to the inside of the firewall using 2 of the terminal box screws. I run the supply wire from the starter, inside the wiring harness, through the terminal box and the fuse block is right there.
AND yes that is the correct setup.
UNLESS there happens to be two cables on it for some weird reason.
well, all of my cars are weird then. I have the original ground on the frame plus another ground going to straight to the flywheel housing. it seems to help starting and running of the cars...
I feel the same way about those tool boxes. I have a brand new one that came with a car I bought. Have no intention of using it. I figured it would accomplish a little of what you were looking for.
the easiest solution to the high/low headlight may have been to switch the bulb but, if it was installed properly, it's possible that the wires in the socket were switched. Again, not a difficult fix, but something to keep in mind.
Our club meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month. We have visited 2 senior living communities this summer. We get invited to show our cars at a local middle school in the fall when they are discussing assembly line production and how much it changed how America works. We have had 3 tech\tune up days...
thanks Neil. if your club doesnt mind I'll let my club know that you're coming through. Waynesboro is about 5 miles from the entrance to the Parkway. A few may be interested in joining you guys. What time do you think you'll be getting in this area?
Re: Judging standard history….
@kmbeers- I found one of those in my dad's files for his car. It interesting to go through it considering how detailed everything is now.
