I’m looking for the two adjustable rods from 1940-1948, three speed transmission side shift. They go from the column to transmission. One shifts 1st and rev. The other shifts 2nd and 3rd. I think the length is 14” and 16”. Thanks for looking .

Thanks for your interest and comments. To answer a couple of questions, orcas is a beautiful place but there is a mountain range between there and Ellensburg. The cross member is riveted on and someone modified it with 1/4 flat bar. I’ll share pics as progress goes on. Thanks again.

I have a new project that I want to return to original condition. The truck originally had column shifter. The pic shows what current transmission looks like. I’m hoping to find a picture or dimensions so I can rebuild this transmission frame or locate another one. Thanks for looking

If you have continuity from a wire to ground then it is connected or a short to the ground. Electrical problems can be challenging. Good luck

These are pictures of my 39 coupe. I purchased the conversion from speedway and It allowed me to use stock clutch assembly. I had the driveline built at Precision Engine in Moses Lake wa. I had to move the hole for the shifter back a few inches. I hope this helps. I really like it. Good luck

Jim, I’ve thought about your problem a bit and I think the first thing I would reach for is penetrating oil. I would use it around the broken bolt, then I would center punch the bolt and tap lightly several times then repeat oil. The tapping should cause enough vibration along with oil to loosen...

I just finished a transmission for a 40. There is a number on the edge of the bearings you take out. There will be more than one bearing manufacture that will crossover. Any auto parts store or tractor supply can quote you a price. Tim kin is a very good brand. Good luck.

Mike I read your post this morning and it really sounds light you have your suspicions of what the problem might be. I too use the Holley regulator and the picture I attached shows the gage I bought from speedway. With this I can see just how much pressure is going to the carburetor. Good luck

I think that if all looks correct than it probably is correct. I would look for a different solution to the problem. Tubeman mentioned checking motor mounts and many transmission mount. If the chatter or vibration is real bad it has to leave a mark somewhere. Also if you put a straight edge on...
