Thanks for the kind words and advise! Charlie, the truck was basically sitting for 20 years on these wheels with no movement. I have a full set of 19" wires that I ordered tires for! They will go on soon hopefully.

They were actually prepped and chromed about 20 years ago! They started pitting really bad, so we sand blasted them and repainted them solid off white.

Here is my t-speedster!!! My step-fathers father pulled it out of a river and built it by hand!! It has a 3 speed of some sort and has not prob hitting 55mph!

I got the mechanic's working today and took her for a short tool around the neighborhood!! Runs good, but needs some brake work haha. It is definately original from what I can see! I also have a full set of original wheels that I am refinishing red, just because I love the look!

We use a 3M fresh-air system at work, which we use in the new paint booths. For priming in the old booth, we use the 3m resperators which do just fine when you use the charcoal filter and the cotton pre-filters. This is usually more than sufficiant...

I plan on putting some miles on it!! Needs brake work, and a little body work. I work at a body shop so I will do it all myself, makes it more gratifying!

Update!!! I refinished the wheels on the 1917!! I also got married and we used it as a get away vehicle!! And as a wedding gift from my step-fathers sister, we got a 1931 model-a truck!! It was there fathers, and is mostly complete! Needs a little tlc, which I like most! Time to get to work!

anyone know where i can find a stencil for the ford logo in the picture below? i would like to paint it back on, but dont feel like doing it free hand.

haha, i am very good at multi-tasking! took a bit of getting used to, but i got all the controls down pretty good now. the horns are really simple haha, either pull a chain, pull a corn-cob, or push a button haha.

the horns make the car! i cant wait for the snow to melt so we can drive them again! these two are going to be the get-a-way vehicles for our wedding!
