    Rims for 1931 Model A

Good evening. Was wondering what other rims will directly mount to my model A. I know we have the 16” 1935 wheel to the 21” model A rims will , but what about the steel rims from 1936 to 1941. And, when I say directly, I mean no spacers or adapters. Thank you all in advance!

    1935 16” spoked rims

1935 16” spoked rims I have chance to buy a set of wide whites, bias looking radials with tubes. I want to put them on ‘35 16” spoked rims. The problem is, the fronts are 600-16 ( which is ok), but the rears are 750-16. Can I put 750s on a 4” rim? Or did ‘35 rims come in different widths? Thank...

I have a two part question. First. Can a radial tubeless tire be mounted on a ‘35 16” spoked wheel? Second. If not, can you put a tube in a tubeless radial tire. Thank you all in advance.

    Getting my A to idle

Now that I have the old girl running, I want to get it to idle. The problem is that my throttle yoke (what holds the throttle screw) does not touch the stop. It about 1/4 to 5/16 of an inch away from the stop. Any suggestions?

    Maybe starter problems?

Thank you gentlemen for all your advice. Turned out it was the ground. I did have it on the battery box bolt. It wasn’t getting the grounding it needed. Ended up bolting it to the bell housing. Starts up great!! Thanks again!

    Maybe starter problems?

The starter does nothing. I just got the starter back from a local guy that repairs starters, generators, alternators, etc. This guy knows what he is doing. He said he went through the whole starter. I’m leaning toward something else is wrong, but I’m drawing a blank. I can roll over the motor...

    Maybe starter problems?

I am new to the model A. I have never owned one. To try to make this a short as possible, I will try. Bought a ‘31 Tudor a couple weeks ago. Been sitting for 45 years. The engine was free. After a new battery, cleaned the plugs, shot a little oil in the cylinders, filled the radiator, cleaned...
