    Any trick to installing the rubber grommet in the fire wall before installing the under hood shutoff valve.Its putting up a good fight and so far its winning.

    Don't know if my late 31 {on firewall under the hood] is original or repro. When the handle points to front of car valve is closed when it points to the passenger side valve is open.Is that an indication as to which it is ?

    Im working on adjusting my two tooth box.All is tight except when moving the pitman arm from front to back of car.     I Thought I was the only one. On my late 31 under hood I regent The handle so it is in line with the pipe when on and at right angles when off.
