59A 1945. a farmer we bucked hay for as teenagers had 2, one real bad off so we took all parts we could off the one for the other. Got it running. My brother held the title and 4 year ago I purchased his half plus interest :) so articles stated they only built a few because of the war effort and...

I've swapped out my 97 Stromberg for the 94 Holley, The Choak is different uses a cable, and the throttle appears to be on both sides of the carb as a pass through. So I believe the throttle lever is no longer functional. Also, I'm not sure if the Holley comes pre tuned or if I need to adjust...

I’m looking for the door mechanism on the driver side for a 1945 Ford pick up. If you have something that will fit from 42 to 47 that should be the same. Have a great day

I’m looking to see if someone’s converted their Stromburg 97 to a Holly 94. Have some questions about the linkage for the carburetor to the accelerator and then the I guess it’s the idol lever that hooks to the driver side of the carburetor. If someone has some experience in this, I’d love a...

I made the part

I’m looking for a 1942 to 1947 driver side door latch.—- I made the broken part. Fixed

Yes, it is the original and has the whole mechanism. However, the pieces keep breaking in the inside of it, and it makes it hard for me to open up the door. Sometimes I have to go to the passenger door to open it.

Hi Folks, Fixed I made the broke part I’m trying to figure out how to fix my driver side door mechanism. I’ve tried fixing the parts that are broken as well as cannibalizing from other mechanisms I’ve purchased off of eBay. I just really need to replace the broken one I have with something...

Well, thank you so much for all that information. The headlights do turn off with the light switch. The running lights are now turning signals, and the tail lights have the turn signal and brake light as well as the running light. However, the running lights stay on whether the light switch is...

Thank you, I appreciate that. Yeah I can see how that headlights being turned off at the light switch won’t drain the battery, but my tail light stay on even with the light switch turned off. And I’m not getting brake light so hard to check out the other recommendation.

Thank you, The headlights turn off with the headlight switch. But tail lights stay on right when the battery is connected.

Hey you guys, I’m trying to figure out why my headlights and my tail lights have power to them when the battery is hooked up but the ignition is not on. That will eventually kill my battery. Anybody have any ideas? I’ve tried retracing wires and swapping the wires but nothing resolves it. Also...

I tested the battery straight to the aftermarket ignition and the coil Terminal gave me 12 Volts. I didn’t ran a new wire dedicated to the coil from the original ignition switch terminal. I got 9.8 Volts. So clearly it’s ignition switch on the back of the column. So thanks again for that link...

Thank you I appreciate the link.if I go that direction I’ll probably need the entire ignition kit.

Yes. I’ve updated the wiring diagram I received to show how I have it currently. See attached. I found an aftermarket ignition that has three position. https://youtu.be/-9_TKao-prE I purchased it and hooked it up, but I still no power to crank it.

Hi guys, I’m looking to replace my ignition switch. I need to get 12volt to the coil. The old switch is only allowing 5.6volts. Anybody out there do this before and can you give me some suggestion on the switch replacement? I could really use that.

Crazy wiring coloring. But the yellow and black needed to go to the power of the headlight Green and Black. So I got that part running. Now to the High Beam switch strangeness: click it once highbeams come on click it again and the parking lights come on. Click it again regular headlights. That...

OK I got the turn signals working and one of the headlights, the driver side. But when I hook up the passenger side light, it does not turn on. So that’s the next step. Then I’ll check the brakes. And then try to figure out the ignition.

Guys I need an assist, The head light switch on the left center: “R” for the instrument lights and rear lights - is that the fused connector or is the fused connector “P”

Hi I’m trying to verify my light switch is hooked up correctly and I ran across your diagram. I know the B terminal but A and H I’m not sure about. Has a fuse that goes in, so I’m not sure which wire to hook up to it. Any help would be wonderful.
