    Model a ignition

It is an Electrolock switch for a Chevrolet, I believe it is identified as an H-3. Similar switches are found on numerous vehicles such as Auburn and Chrysler. They are a totally different pop out switch.

    chickasha

I considered not going but decided the fuel costs are not going to keep me away. I love this swap meet and I look forward to seeing old friends again. I'll cut back somewhere else if need be but at my age, how many more trips to Chickasha or Hershey are left in my future? Never look back!

    Original popout or not???

Sorry. your switch is not original. It was made by Mitchell as an after market replacement. These switches look original but the pot metal distributor end and retention screw on the right side is a dead give away.

Brent Terry's father has passed away😢

Very sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I have many memories of Bob at swap meets all over Texas when I lived there in the 1980's. He was a fun guy, a knowledgeable guy, and a pretty good arm twister. Sadly, we are all getting older and the worst part of old age is seeing all your old...

    Engine stamping

Thanks for all the suggestions. Here in South Dakota you can get a license to carry in 15 minutes but a change in a title can take months. Since I have the old block, stamping a block that has not previously had a number should not get me the death penalty. I am planning on scrapping the old...
