Does the package tray behind the seat rest on some metal, wood shelf or does it hang suspended from above? In a recent car show I saw an example of each. Which is correct? The only interior item I have is a partial seat frame. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have a 1936 Ford steering gear assembly that appears usable, except fluid leaks through the lower bearing and out past the plate and tube assembly. Is there a seal or gasket that goes in there? The 1937 sketch in the Green Book doesn't show any and a purchased gasket set for the steering...
