It was on my birthday in 1963 that my dad said that we were going to pick up a Henry for my 11th birthday. What year is it dad ? '35 was the answer. Hope it's a coupe I kept saying to myself on the drive to a farm 80 miles south of us. After the 30 Australian pounds (approx $20 USD )changed...

where to get a new grill for my 34

Australia also has the 4 rod system on the rear. I know that Zimbabwe, and I guess other countries in Africa, has the same set up. The 2 brake rod supports in good condition are very hard to find. I'm in the market for a pair if anyone has them.

    Flywheel limits

G'Day Granny, As Tinker has said a narrow, shallow grove won't worry you a lot. The percentage of lost surface on a 10" plate is zip. I'ts a shame you are at the other end of the state as we machine all sorts of flywheels daily. I'm sure that you can find a good machine shop...

VanNormann 777 Boring Machine Tools from INDIA

I believe that tooling would also fit a Repco 100 portable boring bar that was made here in Australia. I'm not sure if it was made under license to Van Norman but the parts interchange.

Early ford v8 model 48 or 60 in the uk

G'Day Deuce, The bumper bar on the unrestored car one seems to have the correct ends for '35 and the restored car looks more like a'36 bar with more angled ends. Also did some European cars have the horns fitted under the bonnet not external below the headlights?
