I sold an extra Regulator I had some time ago. One thought --if you removed the 12 tooth gear already ---find a Welder and have him build up the bad teeth and file them to be like new.

The tack strip is plastic and avaILABLE FROM LB.The factory rivited a metal channal like piece holding some sort of tack holding material but,it rusts out or gets destroyed on removal. I got the correct size plastic piece from LB and glued and clamped and riveted on it with good results. I...

I had Radial tires on my 1940 Ford PU that I drove for 19 years. I went back to Bias ply for my 36 to get the pie crust & original look I desired. The next time I need tires -- they will be Radial. Noticeable better handling.

I had a simular thing and it turned out the vacuum hose to the wiper moter went bad .

I Mig welded mine closed ,grind them smooth and repainted the fire wall. Worked for me.

I have the same clutch problem. Its not slipping, the motor mounts were new & anti-chatter rods on. Never thought about ****** mount-Eek!, will have to CK! Maybe I should not be so gentle with the clutch? It only happens on some 1st gear take offs.

I restored my 36 with the same goals in mind,especially satisfied with Base/clear coat paint that shows off the beauty of the body. My driver was a nice 40 Ford PU I drove for 19 years - seeing yours made me regret selling mine to finish the 36. Can't wait to see yours done.

APPROX. 1/16TH OF MY 36 CAME FROM THE RHINEBECK SHOWS from over 14 years of attending back in the days when I lived in NY.

I used WD40 with good initial success but I guess it dried up so this time I will try MMO. A year after I used WD40, I can move Blade manually but as soon as I start engine the blade just parks with switch on or off??? PS This is the 1936 Heart shaped motor.
