Don, how close does that body re-inforcement bar come to the inside of the rear sheet metal? This may be why I am confused, as my vertical piece is several inches away from the inside sheet metal. Thanks! Bob

I've always known it as "Safety Wire", and you can still get it through McMaster-Carr, or other industrial supply companies.

Believe it or not, my 35 Tudor Deluxe also has a lean from side to side. The driver's side sits about 2" lower. After getting this car running, I have had so much fun driving it, that I just haven't taken the time to figure out the suspension yet, so I will be trying what Dick said as well...

Most of the paint on my 35 Deluxe Touring Sedan is original, and in spite of some surface rust here and there, it still looks pretty good for it's age. I believe this "baked on" enamel was meant to last a long time. Bob T
