I run the Woody Wagons SIG Model A Station Wagon and Wooden Bodied vehicle group. The above comments are correct. A lot of the hardware is obsolete and not reproduced. There are no current body manufacturers around that are actively advertising. People do list wagons and parts in my...

Yeah, I posted those photos. :) Looking for literature and other documentation on the car. You never know what people have or run across.

That helps. Can you also do a newspapers search for the station wagon?

Long story short. I am looking for Ford literature on the 1930-1931 Special Delivery and the 1931 Traveler Wagon. The Special Delivery was produced by Baker-Raulang and about 1000 were made. The Traveler Wagon had only 10 produced worldwide by Ford. Any information would be great...

Hi All, Call off the search. I actually found him and spoke with him for 45 minutes today. Thank you in advance for your help and time.

Update that I have figured out (he was a high school principal in 1973). Maybe that helps.

I have been there already but I have been striking out.

As some of you know, I am the Director of the Woody Wagons Special Interest Group that is associated with MARC and MAFCA. The group is for Station Wagons, Special Deliveries, Traveler Wagons and recently we added Hucksters. In late 2019, I took over the Woody Wagons group with the unfortunate...

Hucksters are welcomed to join the Woody Wagon Special Interest Group through MARC and MAFCA. The main focus of the group is Station Wagons, Travelers, and Special Deliveries. There are a bunch of huckster owners who are also in the group. There are no MARC and MAFCA Huckster groups so we...

The station wagons were actually light duty commercial since they were on standard car frames. The Manilla Brown color that wagons were painted were also used on a few other cars also. And yes, Edsel thought it complimented the maple nicely.

Steve Ryan Show in Trexlertown PA. Not Happening right now. The Lehigh Valley Model A Club is not canceling it or postponing it at this time. See the graphic below.

MARC and MAFCA Woody Wagons SIG Quarter 1 Newsletter is out or is going out in the mail. Look for it in your mailbox the next week or two. Email recipients have had their newsletters emailed out already. New format of the newsletter also! We are also accepting new members if you are interested...

Feel free to join the Model A Special Interest group "Woody Wagons". Would like to have a nice representation of hucksters that are on Model A chassis and are not hot rods. Let me know if you would like to join. Membership is $20 a year.

Most people consider them Ford Model A Station Wagons which was the 150A or 150B. There were the 255 Special Delivery and the travelers which also meet the specific titled. A Huckster is also a wood-bodied car that was made by cabinetmakers and other tradesmen. Some feel they are Woody Wagons...

Are you a current member of the Woody Wagons Special interest Group? If so, you will get a newsletter but more like a letter about the club and the transition. We are all in this together. My knowledge is enough to be dangerous. Trying to branch this interest group out on the internet...

Hi, We are transitioning right now. The 2019 Number 5 newsletter will be available in print form. 2020 will be available in digital form or print. Please email me at modelawagon@gmail.com if you are interested in becoming a woody wagons special interest group member. If you send me your...

There has been a delay on the release of the Model A Ford SIG Woody Wagons newsletter for the end of 2019. They will be in the mail later this week. Big news being released.

A letter is being drafted right now to the membership and will go out in the next two to three weeks. We all have big shoes to fill with the passing of Tim. We are in this together and need to rally to preserve the modelawagon. Calling it the 4th quarter newsletter for the club...

Simply an amazing man that knew those station wagons inside and out. He would answer every question no matter how juvenile it was. My condolences to the Johnstone family. We have lost a bunch of good men in the hobby recently. Tim Johnstone, Steve Ryan, Alex Janke, and Tim Kelly. I bet they...
