Everyone that fixed the carb leak now needs to fix their leaky gas shut off leak also. That is if the carb leaked with the valve in the off position.

I would imagine the rebuild kits have the seals you need. If the wing shaft is worn, new seals most likely won't solve your problem.

pretty sure all the info given in the link is all you need to order bolts. 7/16" - 14, the 14 indicates, 14 threads per inch 1" block depth should work, the pic shows washers. just don't bottom the bolts out

both will work. You will most likely need to buy the spark plug adapter from a vendors. Usually the ones that come with tester are to small for a Model A head spark plug hole

Was the flywheel cut? If so the pressure plate mount surface needs to be cut also. The red book gives the correct measurement height between the two surfaces.

It's the end of the shaft/arbor that steps down in diameter that then inserts into a bushing. Simular to a motor shaft bearing setup. On a motor the shaft fits tight to the bearing. A pivot spins freely inside the bushing.

It don't use a regular 3/8-24 screw. Look what the vendors sell and see if yours is the same
