You are absolutely correct. I found 2 tabs (welded) at the front end of the frame and a plate that kind of clamps it into place at the rear. Mine is a Canadian car btw. Once removed, pulling downward freed the trim from the car. Thanks for the input. Are these pieces as hard to find as people...

How does one remove the upper interior window trim/molding from the rear (side) windows of a 30-31 tudor? I'm not seeing any clips or screws holding it in place. Thanks
