I understand selling titles or historical docs are tabu. . but I'm hearing these old cars mostly didn't have titles, is this true? thanks for any info. I'm hearing what I'm looking for is a vin tag so it can be traced back to a T registry? Is this also true? Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

How do you remove the lower panel below the trunk lid? My panel was so rusted I had to cut the panel apart to work with. . Now what's left is a small piece that looks to be tucked around and behind a frame flange. Is the an easy solution? Thanks.
