    Electric Wipers

I am in the process of installing electric wipers in my pickup. Only problem I have had so far is how to route the electricity up there. When I bought the pickup it had a manual wiper on it, so there was no clear path of where to route the electrical wire for the new wipers. Any suggestions?

    Model A Radial Tires

Henry (HL Chauvin) suggested I post the preliminary results of my new Model A Radial Tires: I only have about 100 miles on my new Radial tires, but OH, MY, what a difference. Our paved roads here in Alaska are quite rutted unless they were freshly paved in the last year or so. With the bias...

    Fuel Line Sealant

What is the best sealant to use on fuel line fittings. I especially need something that will work on the 3/8 NPT fitting between the tank and shut-off valve on a late '31 indented firewall.

    Rear Motor Mounts

I'm installing new rubber on the stock rear motor mounts. I bought new rubber and the bolt/bushing kit to install them, but am having a problem getting the bushing to seat into the rubber. I can get it in one side, but then when I try to get the other side it (with the frame in between) it just...

    Problems with IE-11

My company upgraded my work computer to IE-11. Now I can't open the thumbnails that are posted. The thumbnails show OK, just won't open when you click on them. Just gets a black image with the little circle going round & round. Anyone else have that problem? Oh, and unlike home, I don't...

    Powder Coating the Oil Pan

I am contemplating having my oil pan powder coated (just the outside, mind you). I've got the engine out of the car right now, so would be the perfect time to do that. Just wondering what the consensus of the group is toward powder coating the oil pan.

    Connecting Exhaust Headers to Muffler

Is there a typical way this is done? The header has a 3-bolt 3" flange with an adapter that takes it down to the 2" pipe. But how is this then connected to the muffler pipe?

    Sagging Door

What is the best cure for a door (Driver's) that sags enough that it won't latch properly. Lift up on the rear of the door while closing it and it latches good. It is about 3/4" lower on the rear than is the door on the passenger side just judging from the way the belt rail with pinstripe just...

    On the Road Again

After a 9-month hibernation due to a couple of valve seats that came loose 600 miles from home, I finally got everything back to gather just in time for our first official outing of the season. Got everything finished up around 8:30 Friday night in time for a 10am Saturday departure. Not a real...
