I just bought a "tow truck" at a local auction. It came with a title but the numbers on the title are not even close to those on the frame and transmission. The frame numbers have a BB almost stamped over the 18 6679762Y. The transmission number is 18 6679762Y. I guess my question is does...

I purchased a 1938 ford flathead to run in my 40 sedan. I was unaware the crankshaft was lengthened in 39 to account for the hub with the fan. Does anyone have any idea how to use the 40 hub on the earlier crankshaft? Thanks Dave
