About a year to date after the old truck was rescued from a fence row. I got it completed enough to make the 75th annual Labor Day parade in Rector. I've still got some interior stuff to finish and I have a guy working in the windshield, but otherwise it looks better than I could if ever...

I'm trying to get the ole truck road legal before I drive it to town for the parade on labor day. I have an original brake switch that screws on the transmission for the brake lights. Is there suppose to be a spring that attaches from the switch to the brake pedal? I think there is, but I...

Took a ride with Pop this morning! (video)

After getting the ****** hooked up the night before, and letting the engine run for awhile in the shop, I couldn't wait to take a small stroll in the old truck and to see how the transmission acted, as I've done nothing to it except change the oil. So I fired it off and took a little drive...

Pop's old truck runs again!! Video

It's been a labor of love, but I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to restore a piece of my family's history as well as America's. I thought i'd been here last week, but got busy on the farm. Today I finished wiring everything up, plumbed up the pump and ran a line to a gas jug. I bolted the...

    Is this a 32 Head?

Is this a 32' head? I posted this on a facebook page, and a fellow "who may very well be on here to lol" noticed I was using a 32 head. I didn't know what he was referring to, till he showed me the difference between a 32 and a 36 in his pictures. This was the way the motor came out of the truck...

    Layed down some Washington Blue

Warmed up here in Ar to the mid 60's, so built a fire and got the shop up to 80. Considering I painted in a farm shop and not a booth, i'm tickled with how this turned out. Loved spraying this PPG paint, my old Devilbiss still has it! The engine was completed yesterday, so even though I've...

    Sprayed some Washington Blue today

Got my shop warmed up pretty good, and after getting the inside of the cab prepped, I decided to go ahead and spray the inside. I'm waiting for perfect temps before doing the cab, I probably got the shop up to 60 on a day like today. This way, I can cover up the inside after this cures and not...

Got a Washington Blue Sample, what you think?

From best I can tell, I think this is pretty close! From my local PPG shop. Only thing I could find for a clean test panel was a spare wheel on a Cultivator, which is yellow by the way, this will stand out this summer when I'll probably have to use it...ha.

1935 and 36 ford grill. Will they interchange?

I realize the 36 trucks went to a bigger radiator over a 35. I've read that a 35 grill will work on a 36? Is this actually possible ?
