1947 or 1948 Ford Accessory Bumper Guard

Very rare accessory bumper overrider for a 1947 or 1948 Ford. It is heavy tube with threaded bungs for mounting behind the stock bumper guards. It needs to be chromed but is in good, straight condition. Certainly a rare item and perfect for your restored fat Ford. You are buying the overrider...

    1935-1940 Ford Frame

I am looking for a 1935-1940 Ford frame. It needs to be straight and not rusted to pieces. Suspension bits aren't needed. Just the frame is all I want. Anyone have one laying around that they would like to place in a good home? The cheaper/closer the better, obviously. I'm in Knoxville, TN...

    '35-'39 Sedan Delivery

I just recently finished my '48 coupe and have been side tracked on a couple of motorcycles and a '59 El Camino for the last few years. It's been a while since I owned a pre-war Ford. I'm really wanting to build a "back to the basics" early Ford - a keeper that I can enjoy for the long haul...

    26/27 Touring Front Seat Panel?

I started tinkering with my T project last weekend. I started with a cowl and a set of subrails and not much else. Howell's Sheetmetal provided cowl & 1/4 patches and door skins. My uncle knocked out the replacement panels for the upper section of the 1/4s. I need a seat back panel. Does...

'27 touring or roadster door photos neeeded...

I recently bought a '27 touring car body. It is essentially missing all of it's sheet metal from the doors back though. I've bought every panel available from Howell's. I plan to fabricate the rest myself. I'm going to tackle the front doors first. Don't know if they were wood or steel framed...

    46-48 rear gravel pans?

My 48 coupe came with a totally beat 3 piece rear gravel pan. Not really paying attention, I bought a one piece rear pan for it off eBay. It was listed as a "'46-'48" pan. Did Ford offer different pans year to year on these cars? Will this one piece pan fit my '48? Thanks, JH

Value of a late '31 firewall?

Can anyone give me a ballpark idea what a late '31 firewall (with the big indentation around the fuel filter) might be? It is straight, no rust, no extra holes..... just a good solid firewall. TIA, JH

    '46-'47-'48 Bumpers and Overrider Bars

I'm looking for a pair of front bumper guards and an overrider for my '47 coupe but I'm not exactly sure what I'm hunting. I can't seem to find any good photos. Below are photos of a '46 and a '48. The '46 is obviously made up of 3 pieces (with a bar below the plate). Was there an overrider...

'41 vs '47 front bumper guards & overrider bars

I am looking for a set of front bumper guards and an overrider bar for my '47 coupe. I found a good '41 overrider bar but before I buy it I want to be sure it will fit my '47. Can anyone tell me if the '41 overrider will work with '47 bumper guards? I guess I can trim the upper edges of the '47...

    Differences in '46-'48 Fords?

I just traded for a '47 Ford coupe. It's a nice project car but it needs a few trim pieces here & there - and a left rear fender. Before I buy the wrong parts, can anyone clue me in on the subtle differences between the '46-'47-'48 coupes? ...& what's the story on the long door vs. short door...

Can anyone tell me what number range the 1932 VIN was? What number did Ford start & end with for 1932? I've heard mention of a * at the beginning & perhaps a letter of two also? TIA, JH
