    Ford Shock i.d. help

I have a Ford Shock, part # appears to be AJ-18077-E, it's on a hot rod so. Trying to figure out what to order for replacement, can anyone make sense of this part # ? Also the car was built in the early 1960's so safe to assume it's a pre 1964 part. Thanks in advance.

    "8BA" Crank Pulley Car/Truck Inquiry

I had this post earlier: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1899791#post1899791 I have since discovered that the incorrect crank pulley nut was used (basically it would almost pass thru the bore of the pulley !) Currently I don't have a spare truck pulley but I do have a 52 Merc...

    Crank Pully Nut - b6319a

Got an "8BA" Truck Engine, want to check the torque on the "Crank Pully Nut" ( appears the pully is loose), I understand the torque is 45 ~ 55 ft lbs, I read on one site it's an 1 3/8" socket, that appears incorrect as my 1 1/4" is to big & 1 1/8" is to small, I'm assuming it's 1 3/16" but...

Resistor Unit / Coil Resistor 6 Volt System

Greetings Again I searched & didn't find a clear answer for my current inquiry. I have rewired the car & just wanted to ask a couple...

Here is a picture I got from an EBay listing of the same style lights that are in my Hot Rod, I can't figure out how the metal cover (that holds the round lens) separates from the base to change the light bulb, I must be missing something obvious... There is no screws (just the ones that go...

    8BA with early toploader "18" Case (32 -34)

I searched & didn't find the info. I needed, this is a continuation of my earlier inquiry about bellhousing gaskets, which indicate they were made to possibly shim the transmission & clutch assembly... I have an 8BA with a 10" clutch mated to an "early" 1934 toploader "18 case", I know that...
