I need 4 Model A crankshaft Rear Main Caps good used ones

Help I need a rear main cap for my model a engine. Mine broke on one end. So if anyone out there might have an extra cap that they would not mind parting with. For a nominal fee I sure would appreciate a PM. I have been looking all over for one. :( Sorry for posting here if i am not suppost to...

I am just wondering if any one cuts the armor around their ignition cable to make a lot easier to install. And if do they how much? I am sure no one wants to whack up an original one. Right!

Can any body help me. I would like to know if there is any way to measure a crankshaft journal in a model a engine while it is still in the car? I really don't want to pull the engine. Richard

Is there any way I can mic. the rear main cap journal on the crankshaft with the engine in the car.Some one sold me a engine with the wrong size cap and it broke. I want to have another one made. If I can find out the size of the journal. :eek::mad::confused:. Richard

Will today I took my rear main cap off and it has a chunk broken off where the seal goes. I have the broken piece so that is no problem. Last week the motor over heated and filled the pan with water. Would the broken part cause the water leak.And any suggestion on how to replace the cap? Motor...

I have replaced the seven tooth steering in my 29 coupe with at two tooth column.But every time I thing I have it adjusted right I tighten down the mounting nuts and the steering wheel is really hard to turn but when I loosen them up it will turn easier.:confused:

Will I got my new shaft today went right out and put in the bell housing. Fit like a glove nice and tight. I guess the old shaft was just wore out. Does the pin need to be heated to Penn it? Seamed to be a soft metal.

When I took the pedal shaft out of the bell housing there were no bushing. Now I understand that the early 28's did not have bushing. If it is a early 28 could I still put bushing in it and use it in my 29.:confused:
