Spotted this in Hemmings for sale in Germany. What I found interesting is the small alternator that is used, wonder what vehicle it was used on.

At least the way I used to :) Got one of these hand pump oil extractors and decided that hand pumping is too much work. So I rigged up and connected a vacuum pump to do the job. Works like a charm and also gets more oil out of the pan than just draining does.

I personally don't think so, but if after the engine package is balanced, the 4th piston ring is eliminated, will there be any balance issues? Any thoughts?

A few morsels of flathead eye candy that caught my eye at Saturday's 'Fall out'

Replaced the 216's with a set of E3-10's about 500 miles ago. Although they have a slightly shorter reach, the electrode extends .025 farther into the chamber. They are 'stubby' plugs but that is no problem. The thing that I have noticed is that there are better cold start and idling...

Anyone catch 'South beach classics' on 'Velocity' Wed. night? A '40 was being touted as being a '41 or am I missing something?
