Hello all Trying to add cowl lamps to 29 standard phaeton, got the correct brackets but they dont easily fit are the inside cowl panel measurements the same on 29 and 30 31??. Wanting for turn signals, holes in brackets are 1/2" out compared to tank clamp holes . Appreciate any suggestions...

Hi all My 29 phaeton never had cowl brackets Got some and the holes are 1/2 inch out for tank clamps Wondering if I have to redrill or something else,wanted to use for turn signals.. As always Thanks in advance for your help. Daryl

Got new bows from cubél They are marked 1 2 3 4. Is #4 the rearmost one and #1 the front one? Put the irons all together and they are quite a bit to wide to mount to the studs. Something’s up maybe I have to shorten the bows. Thanks in advance for any info. Cheers Daryl

Hi all Have one rear brake that’s a little off won’t lock on # 3 position on pedal.If I make it lock then release pedal It does not spin freely until I back it off a few clicks. Lining is good maybe wacky brake drum? Tried all lengths on brake rod no luck. Thx in advance 29 standard phaeton. DJ.

Hi Hooked up new wiring,lights and horn worked properly,fired the old girl up ran for 10 minutes while I checked exhaust leaks etc.suddenly shut off thought maybe no fuel nope lots of fuel. Noticed the fuse blown,replaced fuse and as soon as I switched the battery on fuse blew.can’t see any...

Hello All' I removed bottom of steering column parts bearings etc,I then with great difficulty got the upper bushing out. When I removed the upper bushing the shaft slid down and rested on the floor. Can I just slide it back up or do I need to remove part of the steering box so the worm gear...

Hi Guys and Girls, The bearing sleeves for the spring perch won’t go in . They seem to be a smaller hole. I drive the old ones out and they seemed smaller. Was there different perch sizes? It’s a 29 my 28 fit the new sleeves with no issues. What’s happening 🥴 Thanks in advance for any info Daryl

Hi all Does any have a picture of seat clips To position seat springs in a 29 phaeton I have none and apparently not made anymore.. I’ll make some if I can see what they look like. Apparently roadster ones are different. Appreciate any clues. Cheers Daryl.
