I've seen model a engines used in airplanes and compressors. I read about them being converted for marine use but don't have any details. It seems like these motors were adapted for many more uses than just cars. I'm hoping some of our members here can help me out with pictures or suggestions...

Is there a book out there with good pictures of all the different body styles? I'm looking for something like an id/spotters guide so I know what I'm looking at as I wander around the show grounds. Thanks, Kenny

Looks like I might need a better frame for my project, the one I've got is bent all along the right side and the front crossmember is welded in. Are there any differences between the years or can I use whatever I can get? This is supposedly a 31vicky, but all I've got to prove that was one...

I'm starting a total rebuild on my 31 engine and I plan on adding an oil filter. What can you guys tell me about the different kits the vendors sell? Are they worth putting on? Thanks, Kenny

I'm new at model A and flathead engines so I have some questions. Will hot tanking the block destroy the babbit bearings? Is there supposed to be an opening between the valve chamber and the timing gear area? How big? Thanks, Kenny
