Installed Bratton's new headlight reflectors. Now parking light on driver's side doesn't work. If I touch inside of parking light socket to headlight shell it lights up. Both the pass side lights work along w/driver side headlight. What did/didn't I do correctly???????????? Loubob

I am helping a friend install the above alternator in his car. 43" belt won't fit. 44" one does but the alternator hits the lower radiator pipe when tightening it. How can we keep it from hitting the lower pipe? Is there a 43 1/2" od belt available? Thanks.....Loubob

Blade lays flat against the windshield with wiper motor off. When motor is turned on blade raises off windshield and clears nothing. What needs to be done to keep blade on the windshield??? Loubob

Original generator was semi rebuilt last week. Tech set charge to 10.4 amps. Installed on car. When running, ammeter shows 20 amp charging. Need to take car for annual inspection tomorrow. Is it o.k. to drive the car? If not, why??? Loubob

Earlier today I "rebuilt" a Tilly 'X' carb. Installed on car and started it up. From start up thru warm up, and after, I could not adjust the semi fast idle down at all. All parts are connected properly. Retarding spark all the way caused idle to slow and car started to stall out...

I installed a good used original ammeter and all is working as before. Ammeter runs @ +10 while driving, as did my original one. Had the Chinese repro checked @ electrical shop and they said it was screwed up and not working correctly. As always thanks for your suggestions/advice. Loubob
