    Best preservative for Wood

    I am going over a 1931 Cabriolet, and I believe the Front Roof Rail is from 1931. My question - what preservative should I put on it ? Most of the Rail still has ( I guess ) it's original shellac covering it, but the ends of the Rail show age, and maybe even a slight bit of deterioration.

    Removing a Door Handle Pin - Model A

    O.K. , I give up. I have an un-restored Model A on which I cannot seem to get enough space to remove a Door Handle Pin. If I don't watch out I will damage the Escutcheon. Is there an accepted easy way to do this ?

    Best Anti-Freeze

    What would be the best Anti-Freeze to use for protection down to Zero. My engine is ( I think ) original with no past rebuilding, and it still runs strong. I just seem to remember that some Anti-Freezes can get into small crevices and damage the engine.
